Here we have these superb Walk In Secure storage Chemstore containers for storing Chemicals and Hazardous Materials, paints etc.
The size of the unit is 2200mm L x 1600mm W x 2300mm H, clear head height of 2020mm.
The units has a single secure steel door (clear opening dimensions of 910mm x 2080mm) mounted on bloxwich type heavy duty hinges. The locking mechanism is a pull lever that is connected internally to a cam bar with 2no steel claws that grasps around the units door pillar when the door is closed and the lever pushed in and locked into position with the padlock.
The floor is constructed of steel, fully welded with a 180mm high bund which has Flow Forged raised flooring fitted at the top of the bund height as the grated walkway. The bund has a capacity of around 550 litres.
As you enter the store there is a chequer plate low level step for safety which make s entering and leaving the store safer and easier.
The unit has 3 full length fully welded shelves which are 520mm in depth and have a clear 460mm gap between each shelf.
There are 2no 600mm x 600mm Steel louvre vents fitted to allow plenty of air flow through the unit, one placed high and one placed low.
The entrance door has all the necessary signage fitted and as standard the units are painted bright yellow, albeit we are not adverse to painting them to clients preferred colour if required!
The unit also has Fork Tunnels on all four sides for ease of moving the unit on site and into tight spaces. Also fitted is 4no low level lifting lugs again at low level for safety reasons.
In the floor is a fitted drain also should there ever be the need to take this out to allow any spillages to be taken away from the bunded area.
